A resounding success! Almost 200 participants from all over the world.. Nearly half of the attendees came from industry (incl. many seniors), creating a unique environment for knowledge exchange between generations, between seasoned industrial experts and those still learning the ropes.
Three days of inspiring keynote lectures delivered by so many legends, queens, and mavericks of hydrometallurgy. All those names one has been reading about for years suddenly appearing face-to-face as real people: that’s the feeling many of the junior researchers undoubtedly experienced.
Guided by the Twelve Principles of Circular Hydrometallurgy, the discussions explored innovative approaches to recovering and recycling metals — particularly critical metals — while reducing waste, reusing chemicals, and turning circularity principles into practical industrial solutions.
A very unique opportunity that gathers some leading minds in this field under one roof. A great initiative for building and nurturing the hydrometallurgy community.
